Production Controller Locations: Livermore, CAPay Range: $28 – $38 per hourShift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Controller to plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring on-time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and smooth communication across departments. You'll serve as a key link between production, procurement, inventory, and customer-facing teams to keep operations running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer deadlinesCoordinate material availability with procurement and inventory teamsCreate and track work orders to ensure accurate production executionMonitor production progress and resolve delays or bottlenecksAnalyze capacity and adjust schedules to balance workloadTrack inventory levels and minimize shortages or excessCollaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, engineering, and quality teamsPrepare reports on production status, efficiency, and material usageSupport continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in production control, scheduling, or manufacturingExperience with ERP/MRP systemsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of electronic assembly and ability to read blueprints Preferred: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Work Environment & Physical Requirements Production environment with a mix of desk and shop floor workAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as neededFrequent use of tools, visual inspection, and detailed workRequires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards What We're Looking For Strong communicator and team playerSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyReliable, detail-focused, and committed to quality work Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
