This is an exciting opportunity to build your skills, contribute to meaningful financial processes, and grow within a collaborative and fast-paced team.ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting & Financial ClosePrepare and record journal entries for general ledger accountsAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesReconcile balance sheet accountsMaintain and update financial records and supporting documentationAssist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reportsSupport accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) processes as neededAnalyze financial data and investigate discrepanciesAssist in resolving accounting system issues and operational discrepanciesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and operational financial analysisSystems, Reporting & Process ImprovementMaintain accurate financial data within the company’s ERP systemUtilize Excel and reporting tools to support financial analysis and operational reportingIdentify and recommend opportunities to improve accounting processesCompliance & AuditMaintain documentation supporting accounting transactions and internal controlsAssist with internal and external auditsEnsure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required2–5 years of accounting experience requiredManufacturing, distribution, or industrial experience preferredExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar preferredFinancial analysis expertiseStrong understanding of general accounting principlesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailEffective time management and organizational skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWork EnvironmentPrimarily sedentary work involving prolonged sitting, with occasional standing and walkingAbility to lift or move up to 25 pounds occasionally (with assistance)Frequent communication with others via in-person, phone, and written methodsAbility to read, analyze data, and work on a computer for extended periodsAbility to effectively communicate and understand spoken informationWhy Join TACO Metals?Opportunity to grow your career in a stable and expanding manufacturing companyExposure to cross-functional operations and real business impactCollaborative team environment with strong leadership supportA role where your attention to detail and insights truly matterTACO Metals is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Gender/Minority/Veterans/Disabled.Powered by JazzHR
