Duration: Feb 18, 2026 – Feb 17, 2027 Open Positions: 2 Job Type: Contract (Hourly) Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours/week) Location: 100% Remote (U.S. – North Carolina based preferred) Interview Process: 1 Round – Video Interview Role Summary We are seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and experience with specialized engineering tools. This role requires a solid foundation in seismic engineering and finite element methods to support complex project requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform structural analysis of concrete and steel structures using finite element methods. Conduct seismic structural analyses for nuclear-related applications. Work with applicable industry codes and standards including: ASCE 43 ASCE 4 ACI 349 & 318 ASCE 7 IBC AISC N690 Steel Construction Manual Seismic Design Manual Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Proficiency in ANSYS APDL (Required) Civil engineering experience (Required) Strong experience in seismic structural analysis Experience in analysis and design of concrete, steel, and composite structures Preferred Qualifications Experience with AISC / N690 Programming skills (e.g., MATLAB or Python) – preferred but not required P.E. (U.S.) or P.Eng.
