They are how we operate. The Opportunity We are hiring a Director of Finance to serve as a hands-on financial leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership. This role owns the day-to-day financial operations of the company while helping DreamSeat operate smarter, cleaner, and more predictably. This is not a back-office-only role. You’ll be visible, collaborative, and actively engaged with leaders across the business. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Oversight Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and statements Maintain strong internal controls, accounting discipline, and compliance Oversee AR, AP, payroll, and general ledger functions Business Partnership Partner with executive leadership and department heads on decision-making Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and scenario modeling Process, Precision & Follow-Through Strengthen financial processes and controls as the company scales Identify opportunities for efficiency and clarity Inspect work for accuracy and coach others toward higher standards Ensure commitments are tracked, followed up on, and completed Integrity, Accountability & Commitment Uphold the highest standards of ethics and professional judgment Act as a steward of trust for the organization Create confidence in both the numbers and the people behind them Experience & Background 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Prior Controller, Director of Finance, or senior accounting leadership experience Strong GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls knowledge Experience in manufacturing, distribution, project-based, or multi-channel environments preferred ERP and financial systems experience strongly valued CPA a plus, not required If you’re looking for a role where your work matters and your judgment is trusted—this is that opportunity.
