Director of Recruitment and Enrollment ManagementHighland - Highland, KS 66035OverviewSalary Range $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 Salary/year Position Type Full TimeDescriptionThe Director of Recruitment and Enrollment Management provides strategic leadership for the College's enrollment management operations, scholarship administration, and annual recruitment calendar. This position plays a key role in shaping recruiting and enrollment strategy, managing scholarship processes, and ensuring consistent, timely recruitment and retention efforts across the academic year.Serving as a senior member of the recruitment and retention team, the Director oversees scholarship coordination, recruitment planning, entrance counseling and professional advising efforts using a data-informed approach while supporting staff, improving processes, and aligning recruitment efforts with institutional enrollment and retention goals.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Strategy & Calendar ManagementDevelop, manage, and maintain the annual recruitment calendar, including high school visits, campus events, application cycles, and yield activities.Coordinate recruitment timelines, communication cycles, and outreach strategies in collaboration with Admissions, Marketing, and Student AffairsMonitor recruitment progress toward enrollment goals and adjust strategies as needed.Support the Associate Dean in enrollment planning, forecasting, and recruitment initiatives.Scholarship Coordination & Financial IncentivesOversee the administration of institutional scholarships, awards, and recruitment-based financial incentives.Coordinate scholarship application processes, deadlines, communication, and award notifications.Collaborate with Financial Aid, Business Office, and Academic leadership to ensure alignment with policies and budgets.Track scholarship utilization, yield impact, and return on investment to inform future awarding strategies.Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations related to scholarships and aid.Recruitment Operations & OversightSupport and guide recruitment staff in outreach strategies, territory planning, and communication best practices.Serve as a resource for complex admissions or scholarship-related student situations.Review recruitment data, inquiries, applications, and yield metrics to identify trends and opportunities.Assist with training staff on recruitment policies, scholarship guidelines, and enrollment procedures.Collaboration & LeadershipCollaborate closely with the Recruitment & Student Engagement Coordinator to align recruitment events with yield and retention goals.Work with the Enrollment Systems & Operations Coordinator to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and CRM functionality.Represent the College at select recruitment events, scholarship ceremonies, and community meetings.Participate in cross-functional teams focused on enrollment growth, access, and student success.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesProvides functional supervision, training, and guidance to recruitment staff. Supports performance feedback and process improvement initiatives.QualificationsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (Higher Education, Business, Education, or related field). Experience in admissions, recruitment, financial aid, or enrollment management required. Experience with scholarship administration or enrollment strategy strongly preferred.Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and strategic planning skills. Ability to analyze enrollment and scholarship data to inform decisions. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Knowledge of CRM systems and enrollment technologies. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Student-centered, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.Work Environment Up to 30% travel and evening/weekend work during recruitment cycles. Office-based with frequent collaboration across departments.Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret journals, reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of trustees.Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
