Responsible for inventory of all china, glass, silver and serving equipment; staffing and supervision of all plate-up and delivery of all food the prospective functions; set-up and breakdown of all Banquet buffets; cleaning of all Food & Beverage food prep and servicing areas, to include main kitchen, concessions kitchen and back hallways.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHiring and Training of all stewards.Maintaining labor controls and cost.Delivery of all food to prospective functions.Delivery and set-up and breakdown of all equipment to prospective functionsAttend in-house event-related meetings and relays immediate changes with other departments.Other duties as assigned.Maintain a Health Department score of 90 or higher.Cleanliness in both kitchens.Position is very hands on with excessive interaction with staff and customers during events.Running and maintenance of the main dish machine and related chemicals and supplies.Must quick with counting and simple arithmetic.Trained respondent in case of emergencies.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervises all hourly Stewarding StaffEducation and/or ExperienceAt least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.Skills and AbilitiesAdvanced communication skills.Strong ability to work with other staff members in the facility.Results oriented individual with the ability to meet required time lines.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.Must adhere to all food codes.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsServe-safe certified.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
