Sheet Metal HVAC Fabricator
JOB DETAILS: The responsibility of an HVAC Fabricator is to ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Accountable for meeting production goals and overseeing the quality. Learn practical skills of operating machinery, assembling components, and performing quality checks, while ultimately developing into a skilled manufacturing worker across various production processes. Responsible for identifying, fixing problems and possible rework to complete the product.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
Operate and set up CNC machines to produce precision parts.
Use hand and power tools to cut, weld and shape sheet metal into parts or work robotic machinery to get the job done.
Assemble components such as ducts and their fittings using the measurements given.
Move material / product to different operations as required.
Perform minor set-up of fixtures and equipment.
Identify and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
Perform basic maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment as needed.
Maintain appropriate work-related paperwork.
Evaluate production operations and recommend improvements
Perform area clean-up as required.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Proven experience as a fabricator or a similar role in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
Willingness to learn and acquire new skills
Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, tools, and machinery.
Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
