Our engineering culture emphasizes strong domain ownership, modern architecture, and tight alignment between Product, Architecture, and Engineering.Job SummaryClarus is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support and manage core accounting operations for our growing organization. This role is responsible for hands‑on ownership of accounting processes, month‑end close, and financial reporting, while partnering closely with Finance leadership, auditors, investors and internal stakeholders. The role will be responsible for cash management, intercompany and intracompany accounting, month and quarter close, audit needs as well as building scalable accounting processes, strengthening controls, and ensuring financial reporting integrity as the company scales.Job Location: Hybrid – Chicago, ILMain ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring high‑quality, IFRS‑compliant financialsOwn cash management, including invoicing, AR/AP, liquidity monitoring, and cash‑related reportingReview and approve financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and key accounting estimatesServe as the primary accounting lead for external audits, including planning and readiness, execution, and issue resolutionPerform and review intercompany and intracompany consolidation accounting, including reconciliations and eliminationsOversee expense reimbursement and T&E processing, ensuring compliance with company policy and timely deliveryPartner with FP&A, Procurement and Executive leadership on reporting, analysis, and ad‑hoc requestsIdentify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including functional ownershipStrong understanding of IFRSExperience in multi‑entity and intercompany accounting environmentsProven experience leading audits and working directly with external auditorsProficiency with accounting systems including Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Preferred QualificationsCPA or CPA‑eligibleSelf-starter mentality and strong drive for impactStrong accountability, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skillsExperience in a high‑growth, PE‑backed, or technology‑enabled organizationStrong time management and prioritization skills All of our jobs come with great benefits including healthcare, parental leave and opportunities for career advancements.
