This seasonal role focuses primarily on our Summer Cooking Camps, where we inspire young chefs to explore creativity in the kitchen while learning valuable culinary skills.We’re looking for a high-energy, engaging individual who loves food, enjoys working with kids, and thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment.QualificationsSelf-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environmentNatural curiosity and passion for food and culinary entertainmentExcellent communication skills, especially with childrenProficient in a range of cooking and baking techniquesConfident speaking in front of groups with a strong, clear voiceMinimum of one year of experience entertaining or working with kids and/or adultsAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 poundsCPR certified (or willing to obtain)ResponsibilitiesHost and instruct summer cooking camps, classes, and parties for guests ages 2–99Lead engaging, hands-on cooking activities for young chefs during Summer Camp sessions (May 18 – August 14)Teach guests culinary and baking techniques related to the class menuCreate a friendly, energetic, and consistent guest experienceInteract with guests and parents to ensure an outstanding experienceWork independently or manage a team of culinary assistants during larger camps and eventsSet up the kitchen studio before camp and classes and assist with cleanup afterwardMaintain a clean, safe, and controlled kitchen environment, providing first aid/CPR treatment if neededWho We AreTaste Buds Kitchen has captivated the country with a refreshingly simple concept: providing culinary entertainment to kids, families, and adults in a fun, beautiful, and state-of-the-art Kitchen Studio.For Kids (ages 2 to teens):Hands-on cooking classes, summer camps, birthday parties, and field trips.For Adults:Date-night cooking classes, birthday celebrations, bachelorettes, showers, and corporate events.Seasonal DetailsSeasonal Position: May 18 – August 14Primary Focus: Summer Cooking Camps and youth programmingOpportunities may include assisting with private events, classes, and parties throughout the season.If you love food, creativity, and working with kids, Taste Buds Kitchen is the perfect place to spend your summer inspiring the next generation of chefs.
