Position Information Position Title Associate Web Developer Requisition Number S02451P Position Category Staff Campus Location Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week 40 Months per year 12 Alternate work schedule Pay Grade E31 Salary FLSA Exempt Job Summary/Basic Function The Associate Web Developer position is a member of the Enterprise Applications Student Team. Basic responsibilities include project work is typically team focused and includes creating/enhancing web based software applications and databases through client-side programming, server-side programming, configuration and logic, database design and programming, functional testing, and training users on software. Independent work is similar in form, by typically smaller in scale. Programmer may be assigned specific applications to oversee and maintain through subject matter expertise, troubleshooting, code development, and system development. Administrative duties including attending team and project meetings, meeting with campus collaborators, and some administration of software and applications. Required Qualifications Required: Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field or equivalent relevant work experience (2 years) in related field Basic experience with at least 1 programming language Basic experience with database design and programming Basic experience with web front-end programming (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) Preferred Qualifications Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related IT field Basic understanding of software development Proficient technical learner Basic knowledge of web accessibility standards and semantics Experience in C# and .Net programming A successful candidate will be willing to Background Check? Depending on candidate qualifications, this position can be filled as a grade E31 with the annual salary starting at $55,000 or as a grade E32 with the annual salary starting at $65,000.
