Payroll Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities:Process and manage payroll for all employeesEnsure accurate and timely payroll processing, including job costing, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reportsMaintain and update payroll recordsHandle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepanciesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulationsPrepare and submit certified payroll reportsCollaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency Preferred Qualifications:Experience in construction payrollStrong understanding of job costing, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reportsProficiency in payroll software and the Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information with integrityStrong communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Pay: $18-$23 per hour The position requires a drug test to be completed, contingent upon employment, and a background check if applicable.
