This role involves data entry, document review, and payment execution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all accounts payable activities.If you enjoy detail-oriented work and being part of a fast-paced accounting team, this opportunity is for you.What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:Reconcile expenses and inventory payables.Maintain all vendor check stubs and related backup.Review and enter all employee expense reports.Match all vendor purchase orders, receivers and invoices.Prepare batches of invoices for data entry and enter into accounts payable system.Review accounts payable report to determine payments for check processing.Manage and match vendor deductions against vendor invoices.Perform check processing as required.Correct any invoice discrepancies.Operate and manage all postage meter services.Things you need to be able to do:Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, departmental managers and co-workers.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.Things that are a plus:High School Diploma or higher education2-3 years of high-volume accounts payable experience.What we think you'll love about Gourmet Foods International:Keep moving.
