Principal Engineer, Public Cloud

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Public Cloud / R&D Core. Key Responsibilities Drive the design and architecture of complex, large-scale cloud services for multi-cloud and hybrid data management Bridge engineering and stakeholders to translate business requirements into engineering tasks and architectural blueprints Provide technical authority and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring adherence to best practices and production standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years; or a PhD with 4+ years Extensive experience in building and scaling robust distributed systems Expertise in Java and a deep understanding of the JVM Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization Strong background in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related technologies
