Position: BuyerLocation: Allen, TX (Hybrid)Duration: 12+ months (possibility of extension)Top 5 Must‑Have Skills:Purchasing experiencePlanning experienceForecasting & inventory control managementSAP and/or Oracle experienceStrong Excel skillsKey Responsibilities:Forecast and plan service parts via MRP systemMaintain accurate materials and parts master dataAnalyze inventory levels, usage, lead-times, and demandDaily review of backlog beyond automated system triggersInterface with internal supply planning teams for timely fulfillmentCommunicate parts availability, order status, shipping, and delivery details to stakeholdersDevelop and maintain reports in Tableau, SAP, and ExcelCreate purchase orders, stock transfer orders, and track ordersMonitor service parts inventory against open purchase ordersPrepare weekly KPI reportsWhat Success Looks Like for the candidate:Demonstrates strong purchasing and forecasting capabilityQuickly adapts to ERP workflows (SAP currently, Oracle in the future)Effectively manages Excel‑based buyer/planner functionsContributes to stabilizing inventory and improving planning processesRequired Experience:Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering preferred)2–3 years in materials planning, purchasing, or repair parts expeditingExperience with SAP or similar ERP for purchasing and inventoryStrong communication skills (written, verbal)Excel expertise (analysis, reporting, pivot tables, etc.)Nice-to-Have:Industry experience in repair operations or service partsTableau experienceCollaboration: Works closely with internal supply planning, repair teams, vendors, and purchasing management
