We are seeking a skilled Mobile Heavy-Duty Truck Technician to perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, basic repairs, jump starts, fueling, welding, hydraulic repairs, electrical work, and other duties as assigned. As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services to our customers' diesel vehicles and equipment. Apply today to join our team!ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standardsUtilize diagnostic tools and special service equipmentRespond to after-hours service calls on a scheduled rotation basis, with overtime and commission for completed service callsDiagnose and repair trucks and trailers, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioningCommunicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed and provide time estimates for repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsMaintain and manage company-provided service truck, including parts and toolsWork independently and maintain a high level of productivityQualificationsASE certification preferred but not requiredMinimum of 2 years of diesel technician experienceCustomer-focused attitudeState of Michigan HDT repair certifiedWillingness to stay up-to-date on industry training and equipmentPossess your own hand toolsCompensationOur Mobile Diesel Technicians earn between $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience.
