Privacy Counsel, Utah Licensed

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Privacy Counsel to support privacy initiatives and governance. Key Responsibilities Support the operation of the global privacy governance program, including policy management and risk escalation Negotiate and manage data protection terms in commercial agreements and serve as the primary legal contact for privacy-related matters Advise on employee privacy matters and develop related policies and notices Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited institution with active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 5-7 years of legal experience focused on privacy law and data protection contracts Deep understanding of GDPR and CCPA; experience with privacy governance tools is preferred Proven ability to design and scale legal playbooks for privacy reviews and audits IAPP certification preferred, but not required
