Recognized as the premier center for Cosmetic Surgery in the area for over 35 years, Maine Plastic Surgery Center and Spa is looking for an enthusiastic Nurse with a passion for plastic surgery who will be self-driven to build our brand and serve as a leader in all areas of cosmetic surgery.

Our brand new private office is an AAAASF accredited facility with 3 state-of-the art ORs, multi-patient recovery bays, multiple clinical exam/treatment rooms and a complete MedSpa.
Our practice is 100% focused on Aesthetics and is exclusively fee-for service.

YOUR ROLE:
Assist physicians as needed, see patients under a physician’s supervision
Circulate in the Operating Rooms, Recover and discharge patients post-procedure, Scrub during surgery to assist docs
Provide pre-operative and post-procedure care and instructions to patients
Examine and assess patients to determine a suitable course of treatment
Prescribe suitable and appropriate medications to patients as necessary
Utilize an electronic medical record system
Record the patient’s health history in an electronic medical record system
Provide exceptional bedside care and counsel to each patient
Strong work ethic, interpersonal and communication skills.
Maintain a clean office and a clean practicing environment
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with physicians, and other members of the team in an effective and comprehensive manner.
Maintain license and Continuing Medical Education credits as required
Abide by OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant medical office regulations
Current ALS and BLS certification or ability to obtain
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited RN program
Passed State Boards
Possess a valid Maine license to practice
Positive attitude
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to operate as a team player
Good listening skills
Ability to multitask
Ability to make patients feel comfortable, welcome, and heard
Ability to serve on rotation as the on call provider a mix of evenings and weekends
Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday with alternating call with team on weeknights and weekends covering MPS patients only
