IT Security Assessor (RMF / NIST) – HybridZen Strategics, a Titan Technologies company, is looking for an IT Security Assessor to support high-impact federal cybersecurity initiatives. If you enjoy working hands-on with RMF, NIST frameworks, and security assessments, this is a great opportunity to be part of a mission-driven team.Details:Hybrid schedule (1 day onsite per week)Must be able to pass a NOAA background investigationCollaborative, mission-focused team environmentWhat You’ll Be Doing:Lead and support security assessments (RMF/A&A) for federal systemsApply NIST standards (SPs, FIPS) to ensure compliance and security postureAnalyze systems and recommend practical, effective security controlsWork with tools like Tenable, ArcSight, BigFix, and other enterprise solutionsSupport contingency planning, backup, and recovery strategiesCollaborate with stakeholders to strengthen overall system securityWhat You Bring:Strong experience with RMF and NIST frameworksBackground supporting federal or large enterprise environments (DOC/NOAA/NWS a plus)Hands-on experience with security tools and system assessmentsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyCertifications (one of the following):CISSP | CISA | CEH | GSNA | CGRC | SCNP | SCNAWhy This Role:Work on meaningful federal cybersecurity programsExposure to enterprise-level security tools and frameworksStable environment with growth potentialIf you’re someone who enjoys digging into systems, applying security frameworks, and making a real impact—this is a great fit.
