Tower Technician

We work on the cutting edge of communications technology, supporting the build-out and maintenance of critical cellular networks across the region.Position Overview:We’re seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Tower Hand. This is a full-time, hands-on position ideal for someone with experience or interest in this area. We want to hear from you if you have tower climbing experience or experience working from heights. No prior climbing certification is required—we provide full training and certification.Key Responsibilities:Install and route cabling for wireless communications equipmentAssist with electrical work and system grounding on job sitesSupport dish alignment, pathing, and mounting on towers and rooftopsClimb towers and structures safely to perform installation and maintenance work (certification provided)Load, unload, and maintain tools and equipmentFollow safety procedures and industry standardsTravel to job sites throughout the MidwestQualifications:Basic understanding of cell site components and layoutsFamiliarity with dish pathing and cell tower sitesComfortable working outdoors in various conditionsAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work at heightsStrong work ethic and willingness to learnValid driver’s license and reliable transportationPreferred:Prior experience in telecom, electrical work, or constructionOSHA 10/30 certificationRF awareness or other safety certificationsCompensation:Pay: $22/hr to $30/hr Depending on experiencePer Diem for travelBenefits:PPO Health InsuranceDental and Vision CoveragePaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchPaid Climbing Certification and Safety TrainingOpportunities for advancement in a growing industryWhy Join TEP Group?At TEP Group, you're not just taking a job, you're launching a career.
