Details ICU department in a hospital setting Night shift schedule, 3 days per week (12-hour shifts) 36 hours per week, full-time Travel and trauma experience required for this role Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Travel and trauma nursing experience required Basic computer skills required Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors Full DOB required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted Responsible for assigned patient group, including assessment, documentation, medication administration, and IV/blood product management Collaborates with physicians during exams and minor diagnostic procedures Monitors and responds to physiological changes in ICU patients Educates patients and families on care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge planning Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff Previous travelers at this facility may return after a 6-month separation period following a maximum 26-week total assignment BSN is preferred but not required Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced; candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance American Traveler Job ID P-689278.
