Job Description Job Summary:Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Accounting manager for a small E&P company in Amarillo, TX.Responsibilities:-Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management-Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes-Perform monthly account reconciliations.-Preparation of financial statements-Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions-Manage oil & gas accounting activities, including:Revenue accountingJoint interest billing (JIB)Production accounting supportWorking interest and royalty owner accountingAFE xaygatp tracking and capital expenditure reporting-Support management with financial analysis and operational reporting-Supervise and mentor accounting staff, as applicable-Preparation of various statements in Microsoft Excel
