We are proud of exceptional teamwork and unite to work fairly and productively to get the job done.In this Travel Periodontal Assistant opportunity, you will support the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting during dental procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring and professional demeanor, ability to start within a month and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.This job requires traveling between our offices supporing our Oral Surgery Team (Tacoma, Federal Way, Bellevue, Maple Valley, Issaquah, Northgate, Lynnwood, Olympia & Gig Harbor)Schedule (days/hours)Tue-Fri 7am-5pmResponsibilitiesAccurately record medical/medication history.Seats and prepares the patients treatment including biopsies, grafting and pathology procedures & knowledgeable with implant case setup including components.Maintain cleanliness and disinfectant protocols in operatory before and after treatment.Be knowledgeable on emergency protocols (BLS/AED).Send out Preop, Postop and MD clearance letters.Accurately maintain Biopsy reports and logs.Accurately review post-operative instructions.Ability to accurately take periapical x-rays, CT scans and intraoral picturesMonitors prosthetic cases and ensures they are ready for the patient’s appointmentQualificationsWashington RDA requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredKnowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standardsCompensation$24-$29/hourAbout UsBenefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.Smile Brands supports over 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states all focused on a single mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone!® Smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners.
