Engineer II

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies. We are seeking an analytical and aviation-focused Senior Planning Data Analyst (Engineer II) to support LAWA's Planning & Design Division. This role supports airside and terminal operational planning by analyzing aviation data, running simulations, and recommending improvements to airport efficiency, capacity, and passenger flow.Salary Range: $150K/Year-$165K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's QualificationsKey Responsibilities:You will serve as a technical resource supporting airport operational planning across airside and terminal functions.Data & AnalysisAnalyze historic and future flight schedulesConduct gate/stand allocation analysisPerform queueing analysis for passenger processingAnalyze TSA, CBP, baggage handling, and space utilization dataConduct airfield and gate monitoring analysis (Aerobahn)Modeling & SimulationDevelop and review simulation models (CAST, Simio)Conduct operational capacity studiesModel impacts of construction, policy changes, or safety updatesReview modeling assumptions and methodologiesOperational Planning SupportReview conceptual layouts and operational functionalityProvide space allocation improvement recommendationsCoordinate with operations, commercial, and maintenance teamsDevelop reports and presentations for airport leadershipRequirementsExperience5-12 years of experience in:Airport planningAviation operationsSimulation and modelingData analyticsExperience with aircraft gate/stand allocation requiredTechnical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office / MS 365Experience with CAST (gate allocation)Experience with Simio or similar simulation softwareStrong Excel modeling skillsPreferred: Python, R, SAS, PowerBI, Tableau, GISPreferred: AutoCAD, Revit, BIM familiarityEducationDegree in:Industrial EngineeringCivil EngineeringTransportation PlanningAviationArchitectureOperations ResearchOr related technical fieldBenefitsWe offer one of the most competitive benefit packages in the industry.
