The role also supports daily departmental operations and interacts regularly with students and visitors.This position's duties include:Performs administrative support duties for the Assistant to the Department Chair.Answers phone calls and takes messages.Responds to and/or forwards emails.Completes general office tasks, including making copies, maintaining equipment, and producing documents and materials.Assists faculty with various administrative tasks.Runs errands, such as delivering or picking up items.Helps answer questions for students and visitors and directs them to staff or faculty when appropriate.Demonstrates familiarity with major social media platforms (such as Instagram and Facebook), including content creation, basic analytics, and audience engagement.
