Firm Administrator
Location: Plano, Texas, In OfficeRole Type: Full‑TimeSalary Range: $125-150k DOEThe Role:We are seeking a strategic, highly organized Firm Administrator to serve as the operational backbone of our growing professional services firm. Reporting directly to firm leadership, you won’t just “keep things running”, you will drive operational excellence across finance, people, and systems.This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll bring structure to complexity, improve processes, and empower high-performing teams to do their best work.What You’ll DoFinancial Leadership: Oversee accounting workflows, reporting, reconciliations, billing, and collections. You will supervise the accounting team and ensure financial accuracy, consistency, and strong internal controls.People Operations & HR: Lead recruiting, onboarding, payroll oversight, benefits administration, and employee relations. You’ll own performance management processes and ensure HR compliance across the firm.Operational Excellence: Improve administrative systems, policies, and workflows to drive efficiency and scalability. Serve as a key problem-solver for internal operations.Risk & Compliance: Manage benefits, insurance renewals, and risk management requirements to protect and support the business.Strategic Support: Partner with leadership on firmwide planning, coordination, and internal initiatives that drive growth and alignment.What You BringExperience: 5+ years in operations, administrative, or firm management roles, preferably within a professional services environment.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field.Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with firm leadership.Financial Acumen: Strong experience overseeing financial operations and working closely with accounting functions.HR Expertise: Hands-on experience with HR processes, benefits administration, and compliance.Tools: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Paylocity preferred.Credentials (Plus): SHRM, PHR/SPHR, MBA, or other operations leadership certifications.Mindset: Highly organized, sound judgment, strong communicator, and a proactive operator who thrives in a dynamic environment.We are a high computer-use office, so being comfortable and skilled at general computer, phone, and tablet use really sets you up for success. Some months are busier than others, so successfully managing a fluctuating workload, while staying organized, is a must to help us meet our client’s deadlines.Work Location:Work to be performed in office. Candidate must be local to Dallas, TX.
