Our mission is to consistently provide our customers with superior value through quality products, service and support by contributing to the quality of life of all employees.As one of the nation's largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions is expanding its staff and seeking a Safety & Risk Coordinator to join the FSG Electric - Kansas City team.As a Safety & Risk Coordinator, you will eliminate or control at-risk behaviors or conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations which may lead to human injury and/or property damage. Investigate incidents involving injury or property damage. Coordinate site safety inspections for compliance against OSHA regulations and company policies and procedures and train and educate employees and supervisors on OSHA requirements and company policies and procedures.A Safety & Risk Coordinator will:Travel throughout assigned territory to inspect and verify compliance of OSHA regulations as well as company policies and proceduresInvestigate reported and presumed incidents involving injury or property damagePerform or oversee frequent and consistent safety compliance trainingPromote safe practices and policy compliance in all settingsOversee administration for fleet services and assigned company equipmentThe ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:Associate Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, a Certified Safety Professional, or Certified Industrial HygienistFive years of construction safety experienceJourneyman or electrical background preferredPreferred candidates will possess OSHA 30 training certificationMUST be able to pass a Drug and Background screenPreferred candidates will possess knowledge of fleet services and equipment managementBe articulate and professional when working with employees, vendors, customers, general contractors, etc.Proficient in use of safety tracking softwareProficient in use of MS Office software (specifically Word & Excel)Benefits include stable employment, 401K program with matching contribution, medical, dental and life benefits, assigned company vehicle or receive vehicle allowance, and advancement opportunities for outstanding performers!FSG is an EEO /Affirmative Action Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status.
