Our company continues to deliver record sales led by a talented team and a commitment to "Fun Served Here".Position Summary:Under the leadership of the Production Lead, the Line Inspector will be responsible for monitoring product quality and process compliance on the assigned production line. This role ensures products meet company specifications, food safety standards, and customer requirements. The Line Inspector performs routine inspections, documents findings, communicates deviations promptly, and works closely with Production, QA, and Leadership to maintain consistent product quality.Essential Functions:Perform visual, physical, and documented inspections of product at designated checkpoints.Monitor weights, dimensions, appearance, temperature, color, and other critical quality attributes.Verify metal detector operation and document all checks.Conduct quality checks and complete required forms accurately.Escalate any out-of-spec conditions immediately to Production Supervisor and QA.Communicate findings clearly during shift handoff and to the oncoming Line Inspector.Complete all quality records, check sheets, and log in real time.Competencies:To perform this job successfully, the Line Inspector must be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, self-motivated, and stay on task. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Must be trained in Critical Control Points to perform post-bake and packaging testing.Responsible for ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Defense, and SQF Programs.Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork skills, work collaboratively with peers to achieve common goals, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.Ability to communicate effectively with the team and supervisors, both verbally and in writing.Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
