Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Houston, TX, for a Container Drayage Dispatcher. The primary responsibilities include coordinating the dispatch of drivers and carriers, monitoring container transportation, communicating schedules, and resolving any issues that arise during transportation. The dispatcher will ensure that all operations comply with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards, while maximizing efficiency and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong logistics and transportation knowledge, particularly in container drayage and freight operationsProficiency in scheduling, routing, and dispatch management systemsExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficiency and attention to detailSkilled in communication and customer service to foster strong client and driver relationshipsAbility to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and manage multiple tasks effectivelyExperience with regulatory compliance and safety standards in transportationFamiliarity with Houston and surrounding areas and infrastructure for optimized route planning is a plusPrevious experience in a dispatch or logistics management role is preferred
