Java Technical Lead

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Java Lead to design, develop, and lead the delivery of enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, and modern application architecture. This role requires technical leadership, hands-on development experience, and the ability to mentor development teams while collaborating with business stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise Java applications.Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Java technologies.Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.Provide technical guidance and mentor development teams throughout the project lifecycle.Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure best development practices.Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective technical solutions.Optimize application performance and ensure scalability of enterprise applications.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Coordinate with DevOps teams for application deployment and CI/CD implementation.Required Skills10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.Hands-on experience in designing and developing RESTful Web Services.Strong knowledge of Angular and modern front-end development.Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and AJAX.Good understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including SQL query optimization.Experience with Git for source code management.Familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of Redis, Nginx, Node.js, and Spring Cloud is preferred.Experience deploying applications on enterprise application servers (.WAR/.EAR deployments).Knowledge of application performance tuning and optimization techniques.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience designing scalable, distributed, and high-performance applications.Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering projects within timelines.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers.Nice to HaveExperience with Microservices Architecture.Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.Understanding of DevOps best practices and automated deployment pipelines.
