We help protect the environment by giving new life to millions of pounds of used goods that might otherwise end up in landfillswhile creating quality jobs and delivering outstanding value to our customers.If you would like to work for a growing company that promotes sustainability while offering competitive pay and excellent benefits, we invite you to apply now!Please note: Must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience driving box truck (or similar vehicle), must be able to pass MVR, background check, and thorough drug screening.Why City Thrift?Home every nightMonday-Friday schedulePaid Time offHealthcare benefits, 401k and more!Responsibilities and duties:Possess the ability to drive and operate a large box truckDemonstrate outstanding customer service to all donors and customersBuild safe and efficient truckloads of donations using company operational standardsHelp build, sustain, maintain donation box sites and routes for donation collectionsAssist in the future development of routes, donation box and trailer site placementsMaintain clean and orderly donation sites and routes based on company operational protocols and standardsWork safely and efficiently in loading and unloading trucks and trailersPossess the ability to regularly work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditionsQualifications:Must be at least 25 years of age.2+ years driving a box truck or like vehicleMust possess valid state driver's license.Must meet Department of Transportation medical requirements by passing a DOT physical.Applicant's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet company insurability requirements.Applicant must be willing to submit to a background check and hair follicle drug screen.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Capable of bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling and climbing stairs and in and out of a truck frequently.Education:High School Degree, GED or equivalent work experiences.
