Litigation Associate

Overview In this fully remote role, you will manage a varied litigation caseload from pleadings through trial, collaborating with partners and clients to achieve favorable outcomes. You contribute to healthcare-related matters and regulatory issues, bringing strong advocacy and strategic thinking. You support cross-functional teams on complex compliance topics and help advance the firm’s mission to serve providers, innovators, and communities. This is an opportunity to shape litigation strategy while developing specialized expertise in a health care context. Compensation / Benefitsremote work ResponsibilitiesManage active litigation caseload, drafting complaints, answers, motions, and briefsConduct factual and legal research and prepare persuasive memoranda and filingsHandle discovery including interrogatories, requests for production, and depositionsPrepare witnesses, take/defend depositions, support trial preparation and courtroom proceedingsAdvise clients on strategy, status, risks, and settlement optionsDevelop case strategy with partners, including motion practice and trial plansSupervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals, review work productManage deadlines, docketing, and billing to meet productivity/quality standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on regulatory/compliance matters, especially healthcareParticipate in business development activities, client meetings, proposals, and thought leadership Key requirementsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the state bar in good standing2+ years of litigation experience at law firm or in-houseExperience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents; conducting depositionsStrong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a teamExperience with e-discovery platforms and document review preferredPrior exposure to healthcare matters is desirable but not requiredExcellent interpersonal skills and commitment to client service and professional ethicsWillingness to travel to court, depositions, and client sites as neededInterpersonal communicationClient service orientationTeam collaborationE-discovery platformsDocument reviewLegal research and writing
