Middle/High School Math Tutor

The Study Station is seeking qualified tutors for middle and high school. We are looking for someone who is committed to working with students one-on-one. We are currently hiring for after school hours. Duties include but are not limited to: Assist students with their homework Help students with homework Assist students with their study skills Assist students with their personal learning goals Fill in learning gaps to get student grade level Attend professional development sessions if needed Other miscellaneous duties Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with students of different learning styles and backgrounds Willingness to work with students in a professional manner High level of commitment to education and learning goals Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Ability to work with a team of tutors Positive attitude and willingness to help others without being asked Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team player mentality Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week Benefits: Professional development assistance Schedule: After school Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience: Teaching: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Teaching license (Required) Ability to Commute: Kernersville, NC 27284 (Required) Work Location: In person
