The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science of the Mount Sinai Heath System (MSHS) is seeking Urogynecologists.We are seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Physicians in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery who can provide consistent, compassionate, high-quality, safe and patient-centric care, personalized to each and every patient. The successful candidate will possess clinical abilities as demonstrated through training, education, certification and experience, strong interpersonal communication, leadership and organizational skills, embrace the teaching mission of theMSHSand qualify for an academic appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. With over 6,000 deliveries per year, the Department supports 24 residents in a four year residency program and an active teaching program for third-year medical students from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. All OB/Gyn sub-specialties are represented in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Science.The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai South Nassau is seeking a full-time Urogynecologist to join its team on Long Island, New York!The Department consists of over 40 full-time and voluntary board-certified physicians providing care to the diverse community. As a member of the of the MSHS and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, we are able to offer the professional benefits of a major academic/research medical center. With over 2400 deliveries per year, the Department supports 16 residents in a four-year residency program and an active teaching program for third-year medical students. All OB/GYN sub-specialties are represented in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.Position Description:1. Teach medical students and residents by lecture, rounds, and clinical activity in the office and operating room2. Provide Urogynocology care, including ambulatory care and surgery in the hospital3. General administration duties that include documenting and reviewing patient chart4. Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities. Responsible for academic advising and related activitie5. Significant involvement in the training of Urogynecology fellows and research. The department has 8 residents per year, 32 total6.
