Behind every placement is our experienced operations team handling compliance, credentialing, and communication so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.Catalytic Solutions—where clinicians thrive, partners trust us, and healthcare staffing gets smarter.Join Our Team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Dive into the world of critical and chronic pulmonary care for patients of all ages: \n - Adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients welcomed!\n- Operate with autonomy under physician guidance.\n- Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement effective respiratory care plans.\n- Execute a variety of technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures throughout the hospital. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Emergency response during Code Blue and White situations.\n- Master airway management techniques:\n - Nasotracheal and endotracheal suctioning.\n- Administer aerosolized medications effectively.\n- Manage ventilators with precision:\n - Set up and operation skills needed.\n- Maintain oral hygiene for patient comfort.\n- Place and maintain airway-retaining devices.\n- Provide support with:\n - BiPAP and CPAP devices.\n - Oxygen delivery and therapeutic monitoring.\n- Analyze chest films and conduct blood gas collections.\n- Perform EKG analysis.\n- Maintain accurate and complete patient documentation.\n- Clean and stock equipment and supplies as required.\n- Actively participate in CAP and JC surveys.\n- Opportunity to function as Shift Leader or Team Leader.\n \nAdvanced Practice Skills May Include:\n\n- Therapeutic gas management and monitoring:\n - INO and HeO2 administration.\n- Conduct pulmonary function testing.\n- Assist in bronchoscopy procedures.\n- Perform hemodynamic and waveform analysis.\n- Conduct nocturnal SpO2 evaluations (Desaturation Studies).\n- Lead polysomnography assessments.\n- Participate in patient transport duties.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\n- Education/Skills: \n - See licensure and/or certification requirements.\n- Experience: \n - 1 to 3 years of experience preferred.\n- Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: \n - RT or RCP License in the state of NM required.\n - BLS certification from AHA required.\n - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required.\n\nWork Schedule:\n\n- Night Shift: 7PM - 7AM\n\nWork Type:\n\n- Full Time\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \n\nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
