Onward and Upward!!!Job SummaryWe are seeking a passionate Principal Business Intelligence Engineer to help build the next-generation data analytics platform, develop technical specification documents, and support enterprise-wide data solutions.Job Roles And ResponsibilitiesLead a team of BI Engineers, providing technical guidance and coaching.Collaborate with business users, technology teams, and executives to understand data needs and deliver innovative solutions.Build BI dashboards and continuously improve their quality, consistency, usability, reliability, and security.Establish and drive BI best practices across the organization.Design and maintain the semantic data layer for analytics and AI initiatives.Partner with data science, data engineering, and software engineering teams to automate data analysis and visualization, provide guidance on data transformation, and identify opportunities to enhance data infrastructure.,REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, And Training)5+ years of experience with Tableau, including best practices and performance tuning.Strong experience with SQL and Python.Strong experience in data modeling, semantic layer, and data catalog.Ability to evaluate the long-term impact of key design decisions and account for failure scenarios.Ability to mentor and guide a team of data analysts.Ability to meet strict deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and perform well under pressure.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a similarly relevant field is strongly preferred.CompensationThe salary range for this position is $140-150K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.
