Car Wash Maintenance Technician

Rydell Auto Center is seeking a Car Wash Maintenance Technician. The primary purpose of this position is to perform and lead routine and repair maintenance at both of our Grand Forks, ND car washes.At Rydell Auto Center, we strive to make every customer a customer for life. Our promise is to keep delivering the same award-winning service and value that our community has come to expect from our dealership through the years.Schedule/Pay Position requires the ability to work evenings 3pm-midnight, some overnights and weekends Pay range is $25-$30/hour based on experience Ability and/or willingness to travel for paid trainingBenefits Above-average health, vision and dental insurance with family and child coverage Short- and long-term disability insurance and life insurance at group rates After 1 year, a 401(k) with company matching dollars up to 4% Paid time off We also offer great “in-house” benefits including discounted services, an employee vehicle purchase program and paid time off to volunteer.Responsibilities Analyze mechanical, chemical delivery and electrical problems and complete repairs as required Maintain and clean company assets, including building facilities, service vehicles, tools and equipment Regular contact with supervisor, car wash site managers and store personnel Self-starter who enjoys working independently within a team environment. Required to carry a mobile phone and be available for emergencies on a regular basis. Workday and work hours will vary according to mechanical needs in a fast-paced multi-site car wash environment Complete company forms and reports accurately including logs of daily work and site visits Technician may be dispatched to work alongside outside vendors as needed Other duties as requested by supervisorQualifications 2-4 years of maintenance experience Ability to collaborate, cooperate, interpret and communicate information that is not always straightforward Ability to read equipment operator manuals and follow company-established maintenance procedures and timelines Efficiently use Microsoft Office Suite, manage files, navigate network and use in house software to access the maintenance data base Strong teamwork skills Strong problem-solving skills Must have clean & valid driver's license Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
