Job DescriptionMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDOne year of retail store experience that includes strong customer service orientation, handling and counting large amounts of cash, utilizing currency and coin counters, and working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracySkills and abilities to work with personal computers, point of sale systems, safety equipment, etc.Knowledgeable in sanitation, guest service, cash control policies, practices and protocolsStrong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formEssential FunctionsPortray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of providing exceptional service at all times.Assist in the following:Control of day-to-day processes in the store such as display of goods, allotting duties to the team members and managing shift numbers, supervising, training new team members, etc.Product inventory reorder based on pre-set threshold levelsAdvertising; and setup and organizing sales and promotional displays as instructed by the C-Store DirectorForecast of future budgeting and staffing needs based upon information supplied. Understand and implement departmental objectives, standards, guidelines and budgets to maximize the revenues at the facility levelcreation of daily, monthly and quarterly sales revenue reports through Excel spreadsheets and various revenue reporting systems at facility level for reporting P/L for the C-Storeforecast of future sales based on industry, market, and seasonal promotions at a facility level to generate growth for the C-Storemanagement of team member development, and job performance including but not limited to team member scheduling, annual evaluations, team member development, and performance managementAssume a role of authority as necessary; set an example for team members, delegate responsibility and empower team members to make decisions; provide constructive feedbackResponsible for all financial transactions at the C-StoreHelp in the design of policies and strategies which will attract customers and increase profitsWork effectively with peers, team members, and regulatory agency personnelAttendance at monthly strategic planning meetingPerform other related duties as may be assignedUnderstand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.Regular attendance is required.Core CompetenciesAdhere to and act in accordance with all casino policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state and local regulationsMaintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards may apply departmentally based on uniform requirements).
