In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that quality standards and initiatives are consistently achieved within a dynamic manufacturing environment.The day shift schedule follows a 2-2-3 rotation, with hours from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Initial training will be conducted on a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.ResponsibilitiesGain an understanding of a specific Sensus product design, including materials and manufacturing requirements while working with cross-functional teamsDevelop and maintain inspection reportsConduct routine quality inspections and analyze dataPerform product auditsIdentify improvement opportunities in quality control processesFacilitate Root Cause Analysis through various problem-solving tools and techniques on internal concerns or external customer returnsSupporting product Quality Engineers to achieve objectivesParticipate in 5S projects and safety meetings.Job RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDQuality ASQ certification a plusManufacturing experience preferredFluent in Microsoft Word/ExcelAbility to read technical drawingsAbility to use a variety of precision measurement tools and equipmentCan work independently with minimal supervision, and be able to follow written directionsWorks well with others in a team environmentPhysical Demands(The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The starting pay rate is determined by various factors, including skills, experience, and work location.
