Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Orlando, FL - In-OfficeYour ResponsibilitiesWork with Technician Supervisor and/or Operations, Service Center or District Manager in scheduling and dispatching of technicians for jobs (Startups/repairs, warranty, maintenance)Handle customer inquiries and routes questions of technical nature to the appropriate resourceTracking of time and attendance for techniciansCoordinate job startups and maintain communication with the customer regarding scheduling for the startup and follow-up on jobs in progress/completedInvoice and bill customersAssist in performing local office AP/AR functions and follows up with customer to ensure that payment has been receivedCoordinate warranty administration process, parts orders, and track shipmentsAnswer telephones and greet customers while maintaining professional and courteous customer contactAssist new hires in the completion of their new hire paperwork, complete employer required sections of forms (I-9) and ensure that it is sent to Human Resources on the new employee’s first day of employmentMaintain OSHA logsEnter all information and maintain information into Enterprise Resource System. This includes work orders, new customer information, and technician hours for billing purposesEnsure timely close-out on all work orders and that all associated paperwork (P.O., etc.) is received and filed with the proper jobResponsible for gathering local prevailing wage rate and completing sending hours worked by Technicians on those PW jobs to Human ResourcesMaintain filing for and office equipment (copier, telephone, fax, etc.)Provide initial notification of Workers Compensation claims to insurance carrierYour QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED 6-8+ years of related experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field Bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of work experience Experience working with HVAC Technicians (preferred)Experience with Astea and/or any other service tracking software Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Your BenefitsDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and company paid holidaysPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local lawTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service Work visa sponsorship is not available for this positionThe typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $28.61 - $47.07 in Florida. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
