MEDITECH Expanse Analyst – LABClassification: ContractContract Length: 12 monthsLocation: Fully Remote (U.S.) – flexibility to travel Nashville occasionally for go-live supportPosition SummaryThe MEDITECH Expanse LAB Analyst will serve as a key member of the CereCore team supporting the HCA Lab Product Team. This role will focus on the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the MEDITECH Expanse LAB module across HCA facilities. The analyst will partner closely with laboratory staff, clinical stakeholders, and IT teams to configure system functionality, validate workflows, support integrations, and ensure a smooth adoption during facility transitions and go-lives.This team is hiring multiple analysts and is intentionally building a balanced skill mix across the group. While not every candidate must bring every skill, the overall team will cover clinical lab workflows, microbiology, analyzer and integration builds, and data-focused lab support.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of the MEDITECH Expanse LAB modulePartner with laboratory leadership, end users, clinicians, and IT stakeholders to design and validate optimal lab workflowsAdvise clients on best-practice workflows and MEDITECH Expanse LAB functionalityConfigure, test, and support LAB functionality including microbiology, analyzer interfaces, and integrations as applicableParticipate in go-live preparation and remote Command Center supportAnalyze lab data to support operational, clinical, and billing-related workflows (training can be provided for billing concepts)Develop and maintain project documentation, build guides, and workflow artifactsCommunicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to project leadership and clientsIndependently manage assigned tasks while collaborating effectively within a team environmentShare knowledge with peers through peer-to-peer training and collaborative problem solvingIncorporate lessons learned and contribute to continuous process improvement initiativesPosition Requirements5+ years of experience working with the MEDITECH Expanse LAB module, specifically with one or more of the following:Experience managing interfaces between the LIS and other systemsStrong understanding of end-to-end clinical laboratory workflowsExperience supporting, building, or optimizing LAB workflows during implementations, upgrades, or optimization effortsStrong documentation, organization, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage deliverables with minimal oversightExperience collaborating with cross-functional clinical, operational, and technical teamsIntermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and customer-service mindsetAdaptable, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced, enterprise healthcare environmentEducationBachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field preferredEquivalent combination of education and relevant healthcare IT experience will be considered
