By combining global scale with rigorous quality standards, we optimize our operations to ensure patients have reliable access to the medicine they need.   Position Overview:  Prinston Laboratories is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Associate Manager, Cost Accounting to support our manufacturing and financial operations at our Charlotte, North Carolina facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and performance of the cost accounting system aligns with current business operations while supporting future growth. You will work closely with the manufacturing team to develop and maintain accurate standard costs, monitor inventory levels, and oversee inventory reconciliation and aging. This position serves as a key liaison between manufacturing, sales, operations, and finance teams, providing critical cost insights to support informed decision-making and cost control initiatives.   Key Responsibilities:  Monitor month-end close activities, including gross margin analysis, inventory reconciliation, and inventory-related accounts. Perform periodic standard cost roll-ups and update standard cost data accordingly. Prepare cost estimates for new products to support sales and marketing decision-making. Review financial transactions regularly and provide cost performance insights to the Site Head/General Manager, supporting cost control initiatives. Oversee fixed asset tracking and accounting processes. Lead and support the annual budgeting process. Analyze inventory adjustments to ensure accuracy and reasonableness, identifying and addressing process gaps where necessary. Develop and maintain documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs), to ensure consistency and compliance. Provide guidance and training to team members on inventory-related systems and processes. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.   Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred but not required. 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on cost accounting and inventory within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other database tools. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred) and financial analytics tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization. Fluency in Chinese is a plus.   Compensation & Benefits: Base salary: $90,000 – $110,000    Location: Charlotte, North Carolina   Benefits:  401(k)  Health insurance  Dental insurance  Paid time off  Vision insurance  Life insurance Disability insurance Flexible spending account (FSA) Employee assistance program Paid time off   Job Type: Full-time
