DescriptionHomeSearch JobsJob Description Technical Support Technician Contract: Frederick, Maryland, US Salary Range: 23.00 - 23.00 | Per Hour Job Code: 369539 End Date: 2026-06-18 Days Left: 27 days, 4 hours left Apply Job Description: Job Title: Technical Support Technician (ID Technicians) Duration: 6-month contract (potential extension/conversion) Location: Frederick, MD (Onsite) Range: $23/hr - $24/hr Key Responsibilities:Monitoring the queue for new requests, changes or projectsPlan and implement assigned project as per defined processes and standardsEstimate project requirements in terms of time, cost and resourcesFollow change management guidelines during the execution of projectswork with vendors as needed for the projects and monitor their workcollaborate with cross functional teams including network TPM and engineersremain updated about the new technologies, processes and designsfollow safety and security standardsTroubleshoot network or physical component issues as needed during deploymentCommunicate with stakeholders and share regular updates Qualifications:Basic Networking knowledgeUnderstand TCP/IP networks, DHCP, Static IPBasic Cabling (Fiber Optic - single mode and multimode) KnowledgeBasic hardware and IT system understandingUnderstand setting up servers (rack installation, wiring servers, cable installation)Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 poundsReliable transportation Nice to Have:Experience working in a data center environmentTime Management/Project Management skillsAble to schedule heavy activities and meet timelinesStrong work ethic Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a related type field.
