Join our team today!ResponsibilitiesGrowth & StrategyDevelop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for Essen's Care Management services across New YorkIdentify new market opportunities, partnership models, and service lines to expand the care management footprintBuild and manage a robust pipeline of partner practices and healthcare organizationsAnalyze market trends, payer dynamics, and regulatory changes to inform strategic planningDrive innovation in care management delivery models aligned with population health and value-based care initiativesPartnership DevelopmentIdentify, establish, and maintain strategic partnerships with primary care practices and healthcare organizationsNegotiate and execute partnership agreements that align with organizational goals and ensure mutual benefitServe as the senior relationship owner for partner organizations, ensuring strong engagement and performanceDevelop scalable partner recruitment and onboarding strategies to support growth targetsOperational ExcellenceOversee care management operations across the partner network, ensuring consistent service delivery and quality standardsEnsure regulatory compliance with NYS Medicaid managed care and care management requirementsDevelop and implement scalable processes for partner onboarding, training, and ongoing supportMonitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiativesFinancial PerformanceOwn revenue growth and profitability targets for the Care Management business lineMonitor financial performance across partnerships and identify opportunities for optimizationDevelop pricing strategies, budgeting processes, and cost management initiativesProvide regular business performance reporting to executive leadershipLeadership & CollaborationBuild, develop, and lead a high-performing, cross-functional teamFoster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvementCollaborate with clinical, finance, compliance, legal, and operational leadership across the organizationServe as a key strategic advisor to executive leadership on care management growth initiativesQualificationsRequired Qualifications7+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience in care management, population health, or value-based careProven track record of driving business growth and strategic partnerships in healthcareStrong understanding of NYS Medicaid managed care and care management regulationsDemonstrated P&L ownership and financial accountabilityExceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skillsMaster's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field strongly preferredPreferred QualificationsDeep knowledge of the NYC/Bronx healthcare market and provider landscapeExperience structuring and managing healthcare services agreementsBackground in scaling multi-site healthcare or care management operationsExperience leading growth initiatives in complex healthcare environmentsEqual Opportunity EmployerEssen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.
