It's energizing to be a part of a winning team!Overview:We are seeking an IT Support Specialist/ERP Developer to join our team. The IT Support Specialist/ERP Developer serves as the primary hands-on technical resource across three locations (Fresno, Sacramento, and Phoenix). This role combines custom ERP development with day-to-day IT support, infrastructure management, and systems administration. Strong IT support experience in a Windows environment with the desire to learn an ERP system are must-have traits. The right candidate is equally comfortable writing business logic in a legacy database environment and swapping out a printer on the warehouse floor.Duties & Responsibilities:Support Charles McMurray Company’s Mission of “creating the most convenient place for our customers to do business”This role grows with you. Day 1 focuses on IT support, with ERP development and system integration responsibilities added as you ramp upProvide desktop support for PCs, printers, phones, software, and employee workstationsAssist with employee onboarding/offboarding, account setup, password resets, and system accessTroubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues across multiple branch locationsSupport warehouse and shipping technology, including scanners, label printers, and shipping systemsLearn and assist with ERP system customization, reporting, and troubleshootingHelp maintain automated reports, workflows, and data processesSupport Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VPN access, and general IT infrastructureAssist with system security, software updates, and technology improvementsWork with the IT Director on special projects, process improvements, and long-term system enhancementsRequired Qualifications:2+ years of hands-on IT support experience in a Windows environment (desktop troubleshooting, PC setup, printer management, peripheral configuration)Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, and ExchangeBasic network troubleshooting skills (DNS, DHCP, VPN connectivity, Wi-Fi)Comfort supporting end users across a mix of technical skill levelsAbility to manage competing priorities across walk-up requests, scheduled projects, and urgent production issuesSelf-directed and comfortable working independently with minimal supervisionGenuine interest in learning business application development. A significant portion of this role involves maintaining and extending a custom ERP system. We will train the right personPreferred Skills:Experience supporting users in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with shipping carrier systems (UPS Worldship, FedEx, OnTrac)Any exposure to ERP systems (Eclipse, SAP, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) in a support or admin capacityExperience with database concepts or any programming/scripting background (SQL, Python, BASIC, PowerShell. The specific language matters less than the aptitude)Familiarity with EDI transactions or trading partner data exchangeExperience with label printing (ZPL), barcode systems, or warehouse hardware (handheld scanners, thermal printers)VMware, Windows Server, or print server administrationExperience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation toolsExposure to Linux, AIX, or other Unix-based operating systemsCompensation:$33.65-$45.60 per hourWe have great benefits too! Company work environment includes warehouse setting.Physical requirements:Able to do the essential functions of office position. This includes bending, stooping, kneeling and repetitive functions related to standard office desk role. Regular movement between office and warehouse environment. Must be able to lift 40lbs.Hours:This is a full-time position.
