Banquet Houseperson
Key Responsibilities:Set up banquet rooms according to event orders, including tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, and décorEnsure all meeting and event spaces are arranged with precision, cleanliness, and attention to detailBreak down and reset rooms quickly and efficiently following eventsMaintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas, storage rooms, and service corridorsAssist in transporting equipment, furniture, and supplies throughout the propertyWork closely with banquet servers, captains, and event managers to ensure smooth execution of eventsRespond promptly to last-minute changes or guest requests during eventsEnsure all equipment is in good working condition and report maintenance needsFollow all safety, sanitation, and hotel operational standardsQualifications:Previous banquet, hospitality, or event setup experience preferredAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects (tables, chairs, equipment)Strong attention to detail and ability to follow setup diagrams and instructionsTeam-oriented mindset with strong communication skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard environmentFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPreferred Attributes:Experience in luxury hotels or upscale event venuesBasic knowledge of event service flow and banquet operationsProfessional appearance and demeanor aligned with luxury hospitality standardsAbility to anticipate needs and adapt quickly during live eventsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
