This dual-role position is essential in ensuring residents receive both excellent personal care and safe, timely transportation to medical appointments, outings, and events.Our ideal candidate is patient, reliable, safety-focused, and truly passionate about enhancing the lives of others.What You'll Do:Provide safe, on-time transportation for residents to and from scheduled appointments, outings, and special events.Assist residents during transport, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.Perform daily checks and routine maintenance of the transport vehicle, including interior/exterior cleanliness and fluid levels.Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance and transport logs.Deliver compassionate, hands-on care including assistance with:Bathing, dressing, groomingDining and toiletingMobility and positioningFoster a warm, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.Support infection control practices and overall safety protocols.Requirements:Active C.N.A. certification in the state of IllinoisMust be at least 21 years of ageAt least 1 year of experience driving a 16-passenger vanHigh school diploma or GEDValid Illinois driver’s license with a clean driving recordExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and proactive in a fast-paced or emergency situationWhy Join Us?We believe in taking care of our team just as much as we care for our residents.
