We’re a revenue-generating, well-capitalized startup backed by one of the top-performing venture studios in the U.S.The Director of Product is a high-impact, hands-on product leadership role at a critical inflection point in the company’s journey. We’ve validated the product and market—now we need a product leader who can bring clarity, structure, and momentum to how we build.This role owns both product strategy and day-to-day execution. You’ll partner closely with the CEO and CTO to translate company vision into a clear, executable roadmap and ensure the engineering team is building the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.This is not a large-team leadership role (yet). You’ll operate as an individual contributor product leader, laying the foundation for scalable product processes and positioning yourself to grow into a broader leadership role as the company scales.What You’ll Do:Product Strategy & VisionDefine and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals, customer needs, and market opportunityTranslate high-level strategic objectives into prioritized, executable product initiativesOwn the “why” behind product decisions and ensure alignment across leadership, engineering, and go-to-market teamsBalance near-term delivery with long-term platform and expansion strategyProduct Execution & DeliveryOwn the end-to-end product development lifecycle from discovery through launch and iterationLead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectivesWrite clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria that reduce ambiguity and accelerate deliveryMaintain a prioritized backlog that balances customer feedback, business needs, and technical constraintsPartner closely with engineering leadership to navigate tradeoffs, feasibility, and technical debtStakeholder & Customer CollaborationServe as the single source of truth for what’s being built and whySynthesize feedback from customers, sales, customer success, and partners into actionable product insightsLead customer-facing product conversations, demos, and roadmap discussionsPush back thoughtfully and with data when requests do not align with strategyData, Metrics & Market InsightDefine success metrics for product initiatives and ensure proper instrumentation and visibilityUse data to inform prioritization, measure impact, and iterate on product decisionsStay close to market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunitiesFoundation for ScaleEstablish product processes and artifacts that will scale with the organizationBuild product discipline without unnecessary bureaucracyHelp shape the future product organization and prepare for team growth post-Series ARequirements: Experience & Skills6–8+ years of product management experience with ownership of both strategy and executionProven experience operating as a hands-on product leader in an early-stage or fast-moving environmentStrong background working with engineering teams in agile development environmentsDemonstrated ability to lead products from early validation through growth and iterationExperience balancing multiple stakeholders and making tough prioritization decisionsProduct MindsetHighly structured thinker who brings order to ambiguityComfortable operating at multiple levels—from strategic planning to sprint-level executionStrong bias toward action and shippingData-informed decision maker with the ability to articulate tradeoffs clearlyCommunication & LeadershipExceptional written and verbal communication skillsConfident, clear, and decisive—able to lead without authorityComfortable engaging directly with customers and executivesStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityNice to haves:Experience in AI, security, developer tools, or regulated industriesFamiliarity with cloud-native architectures and modern SaaS platformsStartup or seed-to-Series A experienceBackground working on products requiring compliance or security considerationsCompensation:$140k - $155k annual salary based on experience+ equity participationOur Values:We are kind.
