Responsibilities Provide Comprehensive Primary Care:Offer a full scope of primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance.Patient Evaluation:Review patient histories and conduct thorough physical examinations.Diagnostic Skills:Evaluate, diagnose, and deliver appropriate treatment and patient care. Make referrals to specialists when necessary.Clinical Expertise:Demonstrate quality clinical diagnostic skills, interpreting test results, and recommending suitable management, including preventive health recommendations.Medication Management:Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.Relationship-Centered Care:Provide patient-centered care, considering both psychosocial and physical needs.Record Keeping:Collect and maintain accurate patient information, medical histories, reports, and examination results.Team Collaboration:Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care.Professional Development:Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings. Qualifications Educational Background:Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent.Residency Training:Completion of a three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.Experience:Open to both experienced and newly trained providers.Board Certification:Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine.Licensing:Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license.DEA Registration:Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment:Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.Life Support Certification:BLS or ACLS required.Communication Skills:Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Technology Proficiency:Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.
