Office Manager
An international law firm is seeking an Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its New Haven office, ensuring efficient delivery across administrative, financial, and business support functions. This role plays a key part in establishing and maintaining the firm’s U.S. presence, including supporting office transitions, managing operations, and coordinating with regional and global teams. The position spans multiple disciplines—including HR, finance, IT, compliance, and administration—and requires a proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving. The role also includes collaboration with a nearby office, requiring occasional travel to support broader operational needs. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, collaborative environment while helping build and support a growing international office.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily office operations, including facilities, supplies, equipment, and filing systemsCoordinate staff onboarding, office moves, and workspace setup in collaboration with HR and ITManage vendor relationships, supplier contracts, and service providersSupport financial operations including billing, invoicing, expenses, budgeting, and reportingEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, including AML, and Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and internal policiesCoordinate IT setup and liaise with technical teams to maintain systems and support usersOrganize meetings, events, travel, and logistics for visiting staff and business activitiesSupport marketing and business development initiatives, including events and materials managementExperienceProven experience in an Office Manager or operational role, ideally within a professional services or international environmentExperience working with core business functions such as HR, finance, IT, compliance, and marketingDemonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial processes, and vendor relationshipsStrong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levelsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, adaptable, and discreet, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesCompensation: $130,000-150,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
