Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ironworker Foreman based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. The Ironworker Foreman will oversee daily operations on construction sites, including supervising tasks, handling heavy equipment, ensuring worker safety, and coordinating schedules to meet project deadlines. The role requires leadership in executing structural steel assembly and structural work while maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership and task delegationProficiency in operating and managing heavy equipment in construction environmentsExcellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholdersIronworker skills for the installation and handling of structural and precast elementsExperience with equipment maintenance and troubleshootingAbility to interpret construction blueprints and plansFamiliarity with safety regulations and procedures on construction sitesPrior experience as a foreman, particularly in precast or structural steel projects, is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in relevant trades are advantageous
